Provocative, abstract collide at Providence’s Yellow Peril gallery (The Providence Journal, 06/06/13)


Unless you’re the sort of person who pays close attention to the local art scene, you may not have heard of the Yellow Peril Gallery, a small alternative art space that opened a few years ago in Providence’s Rising Sun Mills complex.

Presided over with loving care by Vanphouthon Souvannasane, a transplanted New Yorker who also runs his own digital design business, the gallery has quietly filled an important role — that of playpen and creative petri dish for the city’s more adventurous young artists.
